The Group Training Association of Victoria trading as Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) is the peak industry body representing not for profit group training companies across Victoria and is part of a national network of group training associations.
BIBA Academy - Apprenticeship Training For Hairdressers
BIBA Academy’s Certificate III in Hairdressing (SHB30416) for Apprentices involves approximately two years of study over their three-year contract. Employers have an option of sending their apprentice on day release (one day per week) or on block release (one week in every five weeks) for their off-the-job training. During this time each student must demonstrate competency in all aspects of hairdressing to complete the units of the course.

SMGT is a community based organisation aiming to maximise local employment opportunities and the quality of training for local people.
Victoria TAFE
TAFE Victoria is managed by Skills Victoria, part of the Victorian Department of Education and Training. The courses listed on TAFE Victoria are either regulated qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), or short training programs comprising units of competency from regulated qualifications.
